My weight was 297 when I started and 205 after 1 year, I started eating smaller portions of proteins and added salad & fresh vegetables to every meal. All my snacks were in the 100 to 150 calorie range with 3 to 4 servings of fresh fruits daily. The only exercising I did was walk on the tread mill 30 minutes a day. I could not run because of a bad ankle and sore knees. I also had back issues so most other forms of exercises were out. Before I started my diet I took many forms of medications I have almost eliminated them. Now I just try to maintain this lifestyle on a daily basis.
